Wainwright believes there are enormous
benefits in providing a culturally open work environment for
all employees, regardless of race, color, religious creed,
age, sex, marital or family status, sexual orientation, genetic
information, ancestry, national origin, physical or mental
handicap, gender identity, membership in the United States
Uniformed Services or any other characteristic protected by
law. An example of this is the fact that approximately 60%
of the Bank’s total workforce are women, while close
to 50% of the Bank’s Officers are women. Minorities
comprise over 30% of the total population of employees and
22 different languages are spoken by Wainwright employees.
