Wainwright Bank Community Development Officer Receives Distinguished Citizen Award
BOSTON, MA, May 7, 2004 - Wainwright Bank Community
Development Officer and Assistant Vice President, Tony
Robinson, yesterday received the Distinguished Citizen
Award at the 64th Annual Meeting of the American Society
for Public Administration (ASPA), Massachusetts Chapter.
The award was presented to Mr. Robinson "in recognition of his enthusiastic outreach efforts to bring the message of financial literacy and empowerment to inner city residents with a focus on youth and for bridging the gap between the banking sector and urban neighborhoods". Past recipients of the Distinguished Citizen Award include John LaWare, Chairman, Shawmut Bank and Dr. John Curry, President, Northeastern University.
