The Family Center is a licensed mental health agency founded in 1982 to offer counseling and social services to families struggling with poverty, racism and violence. The Center offers a continuum of programs to meet the diverse needs of families in crisis. Currently 44% of the Center's clients are of color and 54% have annual incomes below $20,000. Each year, more than 2,000 families are served through the Center's programs, which include Family Therapy, Family School Partnerships, Parenting Journey, and Family Violence Intervention. |
