About Wainwright Bank

Wainwright Bank is committed to social equity and supports diverse communities; promotion of community development has become our signature.

Our theme, 'banking on Values' encompasses social as well as financial commitment. As a conventional bank doing unconventional things, we have undertaken some bold initiatives to foster support for society's underserved communities and to develop relationships and partnerships with diverse communities.

Guidelines for a Wainwright Bank Grant

As one of the leading socially progressive banks in the country, we receive hundreds of requests for funding each year. Our resources are primarily focused on programs serving Greater Boston communities. Although funding is made on a community level, uniform guidelines are observed. Support of any program or project is not a guarantee of continued support by Wainwright Bank.

Organizations may submit only one request for support of any kind during a calendar year. Organizations must not submit separate requests during a year for fundraising events, membership fees, conferences, or other special events. Any organization that has been denied funding can resubmit their request after 12 months. Wainwright Bank does not contribute to:

  • Individuals
  • Tours, trips or travel expenses
